Feng-Yu Chiang, MD, is Professor of Surgery at the Department of Otolaryngology, Head &. Neck Surgery, Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan. Prof. Chiang has experience with neural monitoring starting in 2005. Prof. Chiang published IONM papers on standardized procedures, anatomical variations of RLN, mechanism of RLN injury, IONM set-up, correct use of neuromuscular blocking agents, experimental animal model…etc. Prof. Chiang designed stimulating instruments for real-time nerve monitoring in the operation and well established international IONM training courses.
